Last Monday (5th), saw the sucessful joint exhibition take place at The Botanical Gardens Study Centre. This proved a sucessful day with many exhibits from both societies. Thankyou to everyone who contributed. See some pictures of the event below:

Congratulations go to Anne Fletcher for successfully passing her Diploma in Botanical Illustration with the SBA. Anne has worked extremley hard over the last two years so many congratulations from all your colleagues for achieving this success.

In addition to the joint exhibition on the 6th December 2011 the Florilegium Society’s has invited NSBA members to attend the afternoon talk at 1.00pm as guests. The talk is to be given by John Edmondson about the work of Mary Delany, the 18th century diarist and friend of Margaret, the Duchess of Portland who is well known for her cut out pictures of plants and flowers.
Members are asked to bring along their own lunch, however mince pies and coffee will be served during the morning.
We look forward to seeing many of you as possible on the day.
