We are happy to announce that Patrick Harding   and Jean Binney will be hosting a further “Fungi Foray” for members of the NSBA.

The  Fungi Foray will take place  on the 22nd October at Whirlow Woods . This will be followed by the painting session at Whirlow Cruck Barn.Whirlow Hall Farm.

Please meet at the 1st car park at 10am. There will be a small charge of £5 for the day.Please provide own lunch.

Bookings should be made with Magaret Crookes.

This always proves a popular day so early booking is advisable.

Hampton Court Florilegium Society have invited all NSBA Members to attend their forthcoming exhibition. The exhibition runs from 27th-31st October, 2010. For more details click here.

NSBA are participating in Sheffield Botanical Gardens “Art In The Gardens” Event on September 3rd-5th.

We welcome members to put forward one framed picture each for the display in the main marquee. Scrutiny day will be announced in the forthcoming summer newsletter.

At the SBA Jubilee Exhibition in April 2 of our Members were Featured Artists.

Joan Battle had four pieces chosen for exhibition and Jean Lowe also had four pieces exhibited.

We would like to congratulate both members for their excellent work, and hope that this will be an encouragement to other members for next year.

We are very pleased  and proud to announce that two members of the NSBA  have had four pictures each ,accepted by the SBA for the forthcoming  Silver Jubilee exhibition  in London Friday 16th – Sunday April 2010.
